From the Director’s Desk…I can't believe it's the end of the church year here in the East Ohio District. That means the Church and Camp reports are due. Now that spring is here boats, campers and cars that are stored over the winter are getting scheduled for pick-up. Soon the Tabernacle will be ready for cleaning, set-up and prepped for summer camps. We are picking up sticks (we do that a lot), that winter and spring weather have blown around. Water needs to get turned on to our outer buildings, grass always needs to be cut, buildings and cabins need to be cleaned, the pool scrubbed, opened, and more. Man! There is a lot to do! How does it all get done? With God's help and the volunteers He sends. Such as: Zanesville W & W team, W1N CON Men's Group, 1 Mission, our local community, our family, and the many individual volunteers that just show up to help. All love Jesus and believe in the ministry of Canaan Acres Christian Camp. The value of these volunteers makes up a big part of our ministry. They play an integral part in getting us ready for what is going to happen on these grounds moving forward into summer. I have to remember that when it seems like it is too much, God reminds me that He never expected me to carry the load myself. He said my burden is light. Pastor Mike
