A look back at 2025

It was a busy year, and the list would seem endless if everything were listed, so here is a summary. Links to the Facebook albums are underlined. Additional details of the year are found in our newsletters. Back issues can be found at the bottom of our home page.

January

The year started with Pastor Greg and Jackie Berdych moving to the camp as year-round volunteers.

February

Work started on Shepherds Haven. Progress photos can be found here on our Projects page.

March

We hosted a silent auction and taco dinner, raising over $6,600 for improvements.

April

In April, a teen group from Alliance Grace Community Church volunteered to clean up the grounds.

May and June

May and June brought many blessings of help from individuals and groups. This is just a sampling of those who helped over those two months. For more photos,

July

Camps - Kids Camp, Teen Camp, Family Camp and CACC Days.

It truly was a place and time where lives were changed!

August

We hosted our first “Camping Adventure”/VBS. It was a full day of activities, skits, crafts, swimming, and food.

September

We closed out the summer with an “Extravaganza” that included many activities for the entire family. There were many volunteers, along with fun, food, games, prizes, and more.

October

Like May and June, October was full of camp clean-up activity, only this time we were closing down the camp, working on Cavavan Badges, a benefit dinner, and taking in boats, RVs and cars for storage. Finally ending the month with Trunk or Treat with over 150 people coming through!

November

While Giving Tuesday was actually in December this year, the campaign started in November, and $1475 was raised. Thank you for the financial support and volunteer support,

December

The year ended with another fundraiser, a Cavavan celebration, several outside groups using our facilities and our annual Prime Time Sing Along.
