And He is working in other ways as well…

For three months you’ve read about the power of camp. Now we are looking at ways God continues to work.

Pastor John Stallings lead the devotional one morning when the Zanesville W&W group spent a few days getting the camp ready. “And then some,” was a phrase that he used in his devotional, that he heard John Maxwell use many years ago,

“Do what’s expected of you,

and then some.”

“And then some,” three simple little words, but they can have big impact.

Getting ready for camp didn’t happen overnight. It’s been months of preparation work in many seen and unseen areas. And it didn’t happen without a lot of prayer, financial support and volunteer help. Many of you have contributed untold hours or sacrificed financially to make a difference to make a future impact on a child’s or teen’s life for Christ. The camp is dependent on those of you who give your time, financial and prayer support “and then some.” So thank you!

Camp Month is Here!

Kids Camp will be starting just before or after you receive this newsletter. Followed by teen camp. Ending with Family Camp and CACC Days to finish out the 3rd week in July. Three full weeks to experience and see God work in some amazing ways.

Our “Then Some” doesn’t stop now”

It needs to includes prayer …

• For the many volunteers - their health, safety, wisdom, and strength

• For each child, teen or adult that attend camp - that they have an encounter with God

• Decisions for Christ, recommitments, peace, hope, healing…

• The continued financial needs throughout this month and the coming months

• For the students who will return home to a non-Christian environment or difficult situations
